About Us

Oak Hills Alumni & Educational Foundation

The Oak Hills Alumni and Educational Foundation plays a valuable role as we support, fund and promote outstanding teacher-led instructional initiatives. We are in the midst of a remarkable time of technological change. In this new environment, our schools must be innovative and resourceful if we are to thrive.

There are three important ways that our community members and alumni can get involved:

  1. Join a committee
  2. Attend our events
  3. Make a donation!

Our Foundation is Your Foundation.

All of us benefit when our seniors leave Oak Hills as knowledgeable, confident and resourceful young people ready for the challenges of life!

Our History

In 1996, dedicated community members recognized the uncertainties of state
funding of public schools. The Oak Hills Educational Foundation was created as a
continuing alternative funding source to “promote and advance educational
excellence in all of its phases” in the Oak Hills Local School District.

In 2012, the Oak Hills Alumni Association merged with the Oak Hills Educational
Foundation. A new entity was born – The Oak Hills Alumni & Educational Foundation.  Since the beginning, we have financed numerous facility/technology
enhancements and student enrichment/safety improvements. Please visit Our
Impact page to see several of them, as well as, many of the educational grants we
have funded in the areas of:

  • Language Arts, Science, Performing and Visual Arts
  • Math, Technology, Special Needs, Financial Literacy
  • Social Studies, Foreign Languages, Community Outreach

Our Mission

The Oak Hills Alumni & Educational Foundation will enhance the achievement and educational opportunities for the Oak Hills students and staff by providing alumni and community resources to promote unity and pride, and build a legacy for a stronger community.

Our Vision

The OHAEF will be recognized by the alumni and community as a leading organization that provides financial support and resources for lifetime enrichment.
