Seeking alumni for OHHS career development opportunity

My name is Brady Faust, and I am a Career Counselor at Oak Hills High School. This is my first year in the role, but I have been teaching at the school for the last eight years. I am in the midst of creating some systems and opportunities to serve our high school students as they think about and prepare for life after high school. One of the programs I'd like to develop is a Job Shadowing Program. Many students do not have exposure to different types of career pathways, and shadowing a person for a day can give them great insights into what a job is like, and whether it's a good fit for their interests and skills.
That being said, I have a request. Would you be willing to consider allowing a student to do a job shadow for a career in your business or company? This could be you, or an employee at your company. As I work with students who are considering different fields, it would be wonderful to have a network of professionals and careers who are willing to have a student tag along for a day. If you're interested, all you need to do is fill out this Google Form. I'll add you or your employee to the database, and will contact you when a student shows interest in that field and desires a job shadowing experience. You can also determine how often you're willing to host a student in the form as well.
Thank you in advance for your support. As a lifelong Westsider, I have a deep passion for seeing our community be strong and tight-knit. The partnership between our students, schools and the businesses that bring so much stability to our community is an essential part of that, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you in the future.
Please reach out with any questions you might have! I can be contacted by email at faust_b@ohlsd.org.
